The Live Better program has helped me learn to save my own life! I am focused on adding healthy things into my life, making better choices and building better habits. I was recently a part of a "Mindset" group for people over 50. It used an app called Live A Better Second 50 where we had a little community of people who were all interested in getting healthy and most importantly learning how to sustain that good health for the long term. It was led by Rod Stewart. He has years of experience in the health and fitness world and he imparted so much valuable information. It was four weeks and we met twice a week and also we were able to talk with him one on one if needed. His way of imparting the information was done in such a way that it wasn't all at once and wasn't overwhelming. He gradually introduced different aspects of a healthy mind and body and his positive, kind and-non judgmental manner made me feel so comfortable and motivated to act on this knowledge. We discussed topics such as sleep, accountability, a positive mindset, nutrition, hydration and exercise. I highly recommend this program to anyone. Even if you feel you are already healthy and fit. Everyone could benefit from Rod's philosophy of life and health and I'm so thankful I participated in it. I feel armed to face the next 50 years!!!
